Our concept of beauty has changed over the years. You see lots of women going for plastic surgery to make themselves more “beautiful”, many of whom are moms. But what would the child think when their mom goes into surgery, comes out looking like a mummy (no pun intended), and looks different a few weeks later? Here’s where a genius plastic surgeon came out with the idea to write a story book explaining just that. It’s called My Beautiful Mommy, a book about a “ugly” mom who’s not confident and needs surgery to “make her feel better”. Her daughter questions her intentions at first but ends up agreeing with her mom and saying that she looks more beautiful than before. Oh, and the surgeon who wrote the book is in the story as well… looking like superman ready to save the world from stereotypically ugly people.
